Our unique, telescopic cabinets are now available in several variants. The guitar versions 10T and 12T (Jensen Tornado TR10 or 12/100) as well as the smaller bass version 10BT (Celestion BN10-200X) are just 195 mm (under 8”) deep when collapsed. Weighing 4.2-4.6 kg/9.5-10 lb, they lodge comfortably in a cabin bag. The larger bass version 12BT (Celestion BN12-300S) is 30 mm deeper, still a happy traveling companion in a suitcase or sports bag. Extended, the T models measure and sound the same as our standard 12J and 12B designs. Extending the wooden inner tube gradually, you will discover that the tone responds in a non-linear way. At a weight penalty of max. 450 g / 1 lbs, we can dress up virtually any TOOB or METRO in Tolex, genuine Lacquered Tweed or more imaginative options. Custom painted rims also available. Visit the Gallery for samples already realized. Non-standard speakers have been installed. ASK!

For players using their speaker cabinet as a personal monitor, we recommend TILTA, a lightweight cradle permitting you to safely incline your TOOB up to 45 degrees and beyond. It is foldable and weighs just 560 g / 1.3 lb. We have also made several one-off stands and tilting devices for the METRO Series, including a double-decker stand for two, for optimal sound dispersion.

STABBEN is a horizontal carbon fiber bar adding stability to 10” and 12” R and S models, attached with hook-and loop fasteners to the rear rim. For the open-back guitar and bass versions, as well as Metro BG+, the UpBeat upright legs double up as extra lateral support.

Need a 2 X 12”? TWOOB is a simple, lightweight plate that bridges over a pair of cabs, attaching to their dock plates and providing a platform for even a large and heavy tube amp.

Need a gigbag for the Originals? We can't beat the Stairville SB-125 from Thomann and many other vendors. Most METRO users are happy to tuck their cab into an ordinary backpack and cycle to the gig and back. ASK!
