For reasons illustrated in more detail on our Facebook pages, a 10% price increase across the board is necessary to offset the continuous increase in component costs. New prices will take effect on September 1, 2026. Current prices will apply to orders already in or confirmed during August, even if payment and delivery should take place later.
Two models will be phased out. Our original TOOB 12R has in practice been replaced by TOOB 12S. The TOOB 10E does not attract enough interest to warrant further production, proving that our users are after top quality rather than bargains.
We will nevertheless test the market with a new economy version: TOOB 10SE. It’s similar to the popular felt-ported TOOB 10S, but with a wire leg and plastic handle. Jensen’s excellent 50W Silverbird speaker adds a few hundred grams weight, but the price will be over 100€ less. Stay tuned.
