Imagine losing your production facility, main market (USA) and top reseller (Custom Sounds) within weeks. That’s what August brought about.
Luckily, new premises were found almost instantly. After weeks of stressful relocation, the new workshop in Mankkaa, Espoo, is fully operational! We now have two spaces: the back room with a cargo door for production, and the clean front room mainly for testing and product display. Visitors welcome, by appointment.
A Metro batch is underway to address the order backlog. We will be displaying our bass cabs at the first Nordic Bass Fest in Gothenburg on Sep. 26-28.
The US market remains a big question mark. Will customers accept the 15% tariff? Will procedures prove too cumbersome for individual buyers? Our shipping agent says UPS handles parcel traffic to the US as before. But even they don’t know whether there’s a service charge on top of the customs duty, as in the UK. We’ll soon find out.
